An application for afforestation of the lands in question was received in my Department on behalf of the above named person. As part of the lands are within a Special Area of Conservation, a Natura Impact Statement was requested and this was subsequently supplied by the applicant's Registered Forester.

Following his review of the application and the site, the Inspector requested a report from the Department’s Ecologist. This report is awaited and a decision will be made on the application once received.
