To ask the Minister for Health the number of drugs which, following the NCPE assessment of the manufacturer's economic dossier on the cost effectiveness of a drug the NCPE found not to be cost effective; if this information will be provided for each of the past two years with a breakdown of whether additional price reductions were successfully negotiated and agreed upon; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The HSE has statutory responsibility for decisions on pricing and reimbursement of medicines under the community drug schemes, in accordance with the provisions of the Health (Pricing and Supply of Medical Goods) Act 2013' therefore, the matter has been referred to the HSE for reply to the Deputy.
