187. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills the position regarding a proposed building project at a school (details supplied); when this project will proceed to construction stage; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [40936/16]

The Deputy will be aware that a project for the school to which he refers was included in the Department's 6 Year Capital Programme. The project for the school in question will be progressed with a view to proceeding to tender and construction stages in 2019-2021, as outlined in the programme. My Department will be in contact with the school in due course in the context of progressing the project into the architectural planning process.
