No Bills prepared in my Department since May 2016 have been signed into law.

The Protection of Cultural Property in the event of Armed Conflict (Hague Convention) Bill 2016 was presented to Seanad Éireann on 18 July. The purpose of the Bill is to make provision in domestic law enabling the State to ratify the 1954 Hague Convention on the Protection of Cultural Property in the event of Armed Conflict and its 1999 Protocol. The second stage debate on the Bill was taken in the Seanad on 27 October and it is expected that the committee, report and final stages will be fixed for a date in the early New Year.
