To ask the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources the total photography costs for his Department per annum since March 2011 inclusive of costs incurred from use of the ministerial allowance in tabular form; the occasions for which photographers were booked; the photographers used; the breakdown of costs associated with each occasion that a photographer was used; if there is a policy regarding the booking of photographers within his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm to the Deputy that the engagement of photography service providers by my Department operates within the parameters of value for money. Where possible, every effort is made to minimise costs. The policy of selection and contracting of photography services for the Department is carried out as part of competitive procurement processes in line with Office of Government Procurement guidelines. The following table sets out the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment photography costs in relation to media services since March 2011:
