Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht
457. To ask the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if a group of new magnolia trees will be planted in the west corner of the lawn to complete the garden composition as per her predecessor’s reply to Parliamentary Question No. 407 of 30 April 2014, with regard to the development of the National Gallery. [37119/16]
I have no responsibility for the day to day running of the National Gallery.
However, I have been informed that a planting of trees (a cluster of three) to the left of the entrance adjacent to Leinster Lawn will take place shortly, provided that the purchase and transport of the trees goes to schedule.
