To ask the Minister for Social Protection the number of applications for carer’s allowance, ophthalmic benefit, dental benefit, invalidity pension and disability allowance received in the past 12 months; the number approved, refused or pending; the way the figures compare with the previous 12 month period; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
