170. To ask the Minister for Finance the excise duty collected on a pint of beer served over the counter at a licensed premises; the excise duty collected on a 500 millilitre can of beer purchased in an off licence premises; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [35828/16]

I am informed by the Revenue that the Excise Duty on a pint of beer served over the counter at a licensed premises is €0.54 and the Excise Duty on a 500 ml can of Beer purchased in an off licence is €0.47.
