I understand that the company concerned is currently in examinership. A petition was presented to the High Court earlier this month and an Interim Examiner was appointed.

The aim of the examinership is to protect as many jobs as possible. However, given the sensitive nature of situations such as this, discussions are conducted on a strictly confidential basis.

The company concerned is a client of Enterprise Ireland and the Agency has had recent contact with the company. Enterprise Ireland, within its remit, is available to work with all interested parties when a company faces difficulties. In this context, the agency is available to provide the Interim Examiner with information on any possible assistance that the agency can provide.
