50. To ask the Minister for Finance the number of complaints to the Financial Services Ombudsman that were deemed to be inadmissible because of the six-year time limit in which complaints can be made for each of the past five years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [33089/16]

Firstly, I must point out that the Financial Services Ombudsman is independent in the performance of his statutory functions.
To answer the Deputy's question, the Financial Services Ombudsman's Bureau has provided the following information:-
