To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport further to Parliamentary Question No. 567 of 25 October 2016, the plans by the NDLS to include mention of the fact that a cost will attach to obtaining a medical report in its printed and online literature regarding fees for driving licences in the interests of clarity and transparency; and if he will make a statement on the matter. ​The operation of the National Driver Licensing Service, including the information issued as part of that service, is the statutory responsibility of the Road Safety Authority, and I have no role in these matters.

I have therefore referred the Question to the Authority for direct reply.
