To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the total number of farmers participating in the areas of natural constraint scheme per county, in tabular form on an annual basis over the 2014 to 2016 period; the total annual budget allocation for the scheme in this period; the total amount of funds expended; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The allocated budgets under ANC/DAS scheme for years 2016, 2015 and 2014 were €202m, €195m and €195m respectively. A supplementary amount of €7m was secured for the 2015 budget bringing same to €202m. The 2014 and 2015 budgets were fully expended.
