To ask the Minister for Health the number of persons awaiting attention in respect of various elective procedures at various public hospitals throughout the country; the number of those who have already been seen by a consultant and the number awaiting consultation; the number of those identified as being in need of surgical procedures but still on waiting lists; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
