To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of politically appointed staff working in his Department including the names, roles and salaries of each staff member; in the case of special advisers, their qualifications and experience relevant to their roles; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There are six politically appointed staff in my Department. The information as requested by the Deputy is provided in the following table:

My Special Advisor Ms. Dunne is a qualified barrister with over 5 years experience in advocacy, negotiation and drafting. All these staff are employed in line with the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform Guidelines on the staffing of Minister and Minister of State's offices.
