I can confirm that there is a military investigation in relation to the administration of the Soldiers Welfare Fund as distinct from the Be nevolent Fund, I had earlier treated both terms synonymously. For the avoidance of any doubt, I am advised that the investigation into the Welfare Fund is the only investigation underway. I am sure the Deputy will appreciate that pending conclusion of this investigation, it would not be appropriate for me to comment further. However, I will receive a report on the findings of this investigation when completed.
