518. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he has been made aware of a computer systems failure at the National Driver Licensing Service office in Donegal Town; the date on which the system first became inoperative and the date on which this issue was resolved; the impact which this failure has had on services and what alternative arrangements were put in place for customers; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The operation of the National Driver Licensing Service is the statutory responsibility of the Road Safety Authority, and I have no role in the matters described.  I have therefore referred the Question to the Authority for direct reply.  I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
