I propose to take Questions Nos. 209 to 211, inclusive, together.

The Architectural Services for the school building project referred to by the Deputy was provided by an in-house architectural team in the Department of Education & Skills.

The builder was J.J. Rhatigan & Company the contract sum was €1,697,524.53 including VAT. The project commenced on site in June 2010 and reached substantial completion in August 2011.

The Final Account was approved and paid in December 2012 the final cost of the project was €1,601,511.76 incl VAT.

My Department is currently seeking to arrange a joint inspection of the roof with the Contractor in order to decide on the best course of action to resolve the issues identified in the reports.
