Officials in my Department have consulted with relevant officials in the Departments of Social Protection and Children and Youth Affairs about this commitment in the Programme for Government.

A process has been initiated to engage an independent expert to undertake the review.

I expect that consultation with relevant stakeholders will inform the review process.

The review is expected to be completed in the autumn.
