The drafting of a Policy on Education in the Gaeltacht is at an advanced stage. This is a key response by my Department to the Government's commitment to implement the Twenty Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010 – 2030.
I will consider the Policy and its recommendations and will present it to my colleagues in Government for approval.
I expect that the report will be published before the end of the year.
