​As Minister for Transport, Tourism & Sport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. Matters relating to the repair of railway crossings are a day-to-day operational matter for Iarnród Éireann and I have no function in such matters.

Noting this I have referred the Deputy's question to Iarnród Éireann for direct reply.  Please advise my private office if you don't receive a reply within 10 working days.
