394. To ask the Minister for Health to restore and ensure that there are appropriate emergency beds available in St. Mary’s, Drumcar, for service users who would otherwise need to leave St. Mary's for one week every month and who are than forced to use private nursing home care which is not always appropriate for their needs. As the Deputy's question relates to service matters, I have arranged for the question to be referred to the Health Service Executive (HSE) for direct reply to the Deputy. If the Deputy has not received a reply from the HSE within 15 working days, the Deputy can contact my Private Office and they will follow the matter up with the HSE.
