With the exception of three properties, matters relating to the acquisition and leasing of property for the Department are the responsibility of the Office of Public Works. I am advised that none of the three leases held directly by my Department is subject to upward only rent clauses and none involve the National Asset Management Agency or any of the State banks.

The management of properties owned by bodies under the aegis of my Department are part of the day-to-day operational responsibilities of the bodies concerned.
