195. To ask the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the properties her Department and agencies under its remit leased; the number they leased on upward-only rents and the number of the lessors who were involved with the National Asset Management Agency or with any of the State banks; and the details of each lease. With the exception of three properties, matters relating to the acquisition and leasing of property for the Department are the responsibility of the Office of Public Works. I am advised that none of the three leases held directly by my Department is subject to upward only rent clauses and none involve the National Asset Management Agency or any of the State banks.

The management of properties owned by bodies under the aegis of my Department are part of the day-to-day operational responsibilities of the bodies concerned.
