To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his plans to extend the city bike scheme to the villages of south Dublin county, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown county and remaining villages in the city council area of Dublin; his alternative plans in place for bike schemes in these counties; and if he will make a statement on the matter. ​The National Transport Authority (NTA) is responsible for the administration of the public bikes scheme in cooperation with the relevant local authority. I have forwarded your question to the NTA for attention and direct response to you.  If you have not received a response within 10 working days please contact my private office.
