72. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills to provide a breakdown per county of the number of children that are currently being taught in primary school classes of over 25 pupils; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15242/16]

Provisional results from the 2015/2016 National School Annual Census showing the breakdown by county of the number of children at primary level in classes of 25 or more are shown in the attached table. Final figures will be published at the end of June. Further details on individual school class size are available on my Department's website at www.education.ie/en/Publications/Statistics/Data-on-Individual-Schools/.
