280. To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 118 of 1 June 2016, if he will review and amend the voting rights of British citizens living and paying tax here and allow them the same voting rights as Irish citizens living in the UK, that is, the right to vote in referendums (details supplied). I have no plans to seek to amend Article 47.3 of the Constitution to enable British citizens to vote in referendums held in Ireland.
