As Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, I have responsibility for overall policy and funding in relation to the national roads programme.  The planning, design and implementation of individual national road projects is a matter for Transport Infrastructure Ireland (formerly known as the NRA) under the Roads Acts 1993-2015 in conjunction with the local authorities concerned. Noting the above position, I have referred the Deputy's question regarding the N4 to TII for direct reply.  Please advise my private office if you don't receive a reply within 10 working days.

Regarding the Eastern Garavogue Bridge in Sligo which is included in the Capital Plan, I have provided an allocation of €300,000 to Sligo County Council in the current year to enable the Council to continue with land acquisition and planning works.
