To ask the Minister for Social Protection if he will examine the application for a carer's allowance by a person (details supplied) with a view to granting this allowance without further delay, as their application has been ongoing since October 2015; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The application for carer’s allowance in respect of the person concerned was awarded on 26 May 2016 and the first payment is due to issue to the person’s nominated bank account on 2 June 2016.

Arrears of allowance due from 3 December 2015 have also issued to the nominated bank account. The person concerned was notified of these details on 26 May 2016.
