The person named submitted an application for allocation of entitlements under the ‘Scottish Derogation’ measure of the Basic Payment Scheme on 25th May 2015. Under EU Regulations governing the Basic Payment scheme, processing of applications involves administrative and on farm checks and verification of land details submitted.

The person named received a letter from my Department on the 13th November 2015 informing him that his application was not eligible as he did not submit verifiable evidence of farm production on the 15th May 2013 which is a requirement for qualification under ‘Scottish Derogation’.

My Department has received an appeal regarding this decision from the person named. This appeal is currently being considered by my Department based on the information set out by the applicant and a decision with regard to the outcome of the appeal will be notified in writing to him in the coming days.
