There were 13 IDA Ireland-sponsored site visits to County Kildare from 2011 to 2015 inclusive. A breakdown of these figures is in the following table. There were five site visits to the county in the first quarter of 2016.

It is important to note that the number of site visits does not accurately reflect the level of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) activity in a region or county as approximately 70% of all FDI investment won by IDA Ireland comes from its existing client base, rather than new companies.
