To ask the Minister for Education and Skills the reason a person (details supplied) in County Limerick who is employed as a resource worker, not allowed incremental credit for teaching experience and is compelled to accept a salary at point one of the salary scale which is a fraction of the hourly rate the person was paid as a substitute secondary school teacher; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Resource Persons are employed in Youthreach Centres and have their own separate salary scale and terms and conditions. There is no incremental credit scheme in place for Resource Persons.
