To ask the Minister for Defence the details of each Statutory Instrument signed; each contract entered into; each tender issued; each tender awarded; each State Board appointment made by him or by an agency of his Department from 1 January 2016 to date, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The following table outlines the Statutory Instruments (Defence Force Regulations) signed in the period since 1 January 2016:

Pursuant to subsection (4) of section 2 of the Statutory Instruments Act, 1947 (No. 44 of 1947) statutory instruments of particular classes made by the Minister for Defence are exempt from publication because of their limited application.

It has not been possible in the time available to compile all the necessary information requested by the Deputy concerning contracts and tenders.  This information is being gathered and will be forwarded to the Deputy as soon as possible.

The only State body currently under the aegis of the Department of Defence is the Army Pensions Board.  There were no appointments to the Army Pensions Board in the period since 1 January 2016.
