To ask the Minister for Health the details of each statutory instrument signed; each contract entered into; each tender issued; each tender awarded and each State Board appointment made by him or by an agency of his Department from 1 January 2016 to date, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Between 1 January and 11 April this year the following five statutory instruments were signed;

- Regulation of Retail Pharmacy Businesses (Amendment) Regulations 2016;

- Mental Health (Amendment) Act 2015 (Commencement) Order 2016;

- Health and Social Care Professional Act 2005 (Section 95 (3)) (Variation of Title: Optician) Regulation 2016;

- European Communities (Official Controls on the import of Food of Non-Animal Origin) (Amendment) Regulations 2016; and

- European Communities (Official Controls on the Import of Food of Non-Animal Origin) (Amendment) (No.2) Regulations 2016.

The information requested by the Deputy in relation to contracts awarded and tenders issued is not immediately available. The information will be compiled and forwarded to the Deputy as soon as possible.

I have also requested the HSE supply the relevant information directly to the Deputy. If you have not received a reply from the HSE within 15 working days please contact my Private Office and they will follow up the matter with them. As regards other agencies under the aegis of the Department these are operational matters for the body concerned and the Deputy should contact the relevant Director/CEO/Registrar directly.
