The person named was originally penalised on his REPS contract in the amount of €4,927.42, which was a 51% penalty on the full 2013 Scheme Year payment due to him of €9,661.66. This penalty was notified to the person named by Farmers Statement from the Department dated 20 January 2014. The person named subsequently appealed the penalty imposed to the Agriculture Appeals Office and was partly successful in his appeal, with the total REPS penalties reduced by 30% from 51% to 21% by an Agriculture Appeals Office decision letter dated 12 November 2014. An amount of € 2,898.51 was refunded to the participant on 16 February 2015 in line with the decision of the Agriculture Appeals Office. The REPS contract ended on 31 December 2014 and the final year payment for 2014 issued in two instalments in January and February 2015. There are no outstanding payments due to the participant.
