The person named submitted a Transfer of Entitlements Allocation Right and Reference Value application and a Private Contract Clause application to my Department. These applications have been fully processed and payment under the Basic Payment Scheme will issue in the coming days. My Department also received applications under the ‘young farmer’ category of the 2015 National Reserve and the Young Farmers Scheme from the person named. These applications are currently being processed and payment will issue very shortly.

The owners of the above mentioned herd number have applied for the Single/Basic Payment Scheme for all years from 2008 to 2015. On processing of the 2015 Basic Payment Scheme application, it was identified that a forestry parcel was not eligible for payment as it was claimed as scrub in 2008 . On further examination, it has been identified that this parcel was incorrectly paid for Single Payment in 2011, 2012 and 2013. A process of recoupment of these overpayments will now be initiated.
