The Deputy's question relates to an employment rights matter, specifically whether a person has an entitlement to take time out from work for a particular reason, in this case to pursue a sporting career. I have no responsibility in this matter, which would be more appropriate to my colleague, the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation.
