To ask the Minister for Education and Skills if she is aware of the decision taken by the State Examinations Commission regarding a person (details supplied) in County Cork; why the commission delivers decisions on the closing date for appeals; if she will ensure this decision is reviewed; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The State Examinations Commission has statutory responsibility for operational matters relating to the certificate examinations.
The State Examinations Commission operates a scheme of Reasonable Accommodations in the Certificate Examinations. Full details of the scheme are available from their website: www.examinations.ie/candidates/reasonableaccommodations.
