637. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills to review an application for increased funding to extend a national school (details supplied) in County Clare, given its enrolment projections; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [5442/16]

I can confirm that the school to which the Deputy refers has submitted an application for additional funding in respect of its building project to provide a mainstream classroom and two resource rooms.

The application is currently being examined and when a decision has been made the school will be notified accordingly.
