Under my Department's Emergency Works Grant Scheme, the school in question applied for a range of works including ramps, railings, automatic front doors, a designated wheelchair car parking spot and widened footpaths to enable a special needs pupil to attend the school. Funding was approved for these works last February.
In addition to this, funding for an enlarged classroom and a resource room was recently approved under my Department's Additional Accommodation Scheme. The school has been notified of this.
