To ask the Minister for Education and Skills to outline the procedures to be followed to enable a person (details supplied) to practise in this jurisdiction; if further studies are required; if the person is entitled to practise on foot of a current qualification or otherwise; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Veterinary Council is the relevant Competent Authority in Ireland for Veterinary Surgeons and will be able to advise the person in question on the recognition of their professional qualifications and their ability to practice in the State.
