My Department provides funding for the UN World Food Programme (WFP), the Food Aid Convention (FAC) and the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) through annual subscriptions and additional contributions as part of our commitments under Ireland’s Official Development Assistance (ODA). Annual contributions are also paid to a number of external international organisations, andmembership/registration fees are paid to professional bodies in line with my Department’s statutory obligations.
The detail of annual subscriptions to external membership bodies and groups including the cost are set out in the table below:
