Responsibility for the Dog Breeding Establishments Act 2010 is a matter for the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government. Implementation of the regulations relating to animals used in medical experiments is the responsibility of the Health Protection Regulatory Authority which comes under the aegis of the Department of Health.
