No Ground Rent was payable in respect of properties owned by this Department for 2015 nor will any fall due for 2016.  With a few exceptions, the Office of Public Works is responsible for the procurement of office (and other) accommodation required for the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport and accordingly, Ground Rent for those properties is a matter for that Office.

The position regarding the agencies under the remit of this Department is a matter for them.  I have forwarded a copy of your question to them for a direct reply.  If you have not heard from the Agencies within ten working days, please contact my private office.
