An application under the 2015 Basic Payment Scheme was received in my Department from the person named on 13 July, 2015. This application was received outside the prescribed period for the submission of valid applications. Under the relevant EU Regulations, a 100% late penalty is applied to the application in this case. An official from my Department will be in contact with the person named to advise him of the appeal process in such instances.
