My Department has no record of having received an application under the Young Farmers Scheme from the person named. Department records indicate that the person named commenced his agricultural activity in 2008. Under EU Regulations governing the Young Farmers scheme an eligible applicant must have commenced their farming activity since 1 January 2010. On this basis the person named does not meet the eligibility criteria under the Young Farmers Scheme.
