In general the retrofitting and refurbishment of existing farm buildings is not being grant aided under TAMS II. The conversion of an existing silage pit and shed is not allowed. However an extension on to an existing animal house is allowed and the provision of new slatted units and cubicles with underground slurry tank is eligible under the scheme.
