A total funding allocation for 2015 of €50.5m nationally was made available for the Housing Adaptation Grants for Older People and People with a Disability, an increase of 10% on the previous year. At local level, the detailed administration and processing of the grants, including the assessment, approval and payment of individual grants to applicants, is the responsibility of the relevant local authority.
