The improvement and maintenance of regional and local roads (including lighting) is the statutory responsibility of each local authority, in accordance with the provisions of Section 13 of the Roads Act 1993.

In view of this, I would suggest to the Deputy that he pursue the matter directly with the Local Authority as I have no function in respect of this matter.
