As I outlined in Dáil Question No. 108 on 12 November 2015 and Dail Question No. 182 on 24 November 2015, this application was refused on 7 November 2015. The applicant (in this case the employer) was notified that they may request a Review of this decision within 28 days from date of the refusal letter. However at this point no such request for a Review has been received by my Department.

It is open to both the person named by the Deputy or their employer to submit an application for an Employment Permit. Any such application will be processed according to criteria governing different categories of Employment Permits. Full details on these and related matters can be sourced on the Department’s website.
