Mr. Nicky Jermyn retired from his role as CEO of St. Vincent's University Hospital on 30 March 2014 and he resigned from his role as CEO of St. Vincent's Healthcare Group Ltd on the 30 June 2014. Given Mr. Jermyn's extensive experience at CEO level for over 20 years, the Board of SVHG engaged Mr. Jermyn in December 2014 to provide support and advice to it as Director of Strategy. This engagement is at no cost to the two public hospitals in SVHG.

Mr. Cormac Maloney retired as Director of Finance of St. Vincent's University Hospital in September 2014, and has served as Company Secretary to SVHG from its incorporation. The Board of SVHG asked Mr. Maloney to continue to serve as Company Secretary to SVHG in order to provide continuity and institutional memory to this important role. I am informed that this does not involve any cost to the two public hospitals in SVHG. I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
