375. To ask the Minister for Health if it is possible to seek a refund for prescriptions (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [39105/15]

The General Medical Services (GMS) Scheme and the Drugs Payment Scheme (DPS) are separate schemes with separate qualifying criteria. There is no provision for a family in the circumstances mentioned by the Deputy to claim a refund of the GMS prescription charge from the DPS.
